How To Kickback and Relax After A Long Day At School/University


Hi! Welcome to my blog! So I have another uni life post for you guys, catch up on other ones here. Basically, about how you can relax and unwind after a long, full, exhausting, energy-draining day at school and tbh, we all have those days, mine is almost every day. These are things I personally do and I sincerely hope this list helps.

1.Lie or sit down on something comfortable - When I get back from school, I just want to lay my back on my bed or on the couch. The feeling of something soft on my backbone after I've been sitting, standing and walking around the whole day is exactly what I need. 

2.Browse through your social media - another way I relax after I lie down is to take my phone and start going through my socials. Snapchat( add me up @daniella.bature), Instagram, Twitter and Facebook(@dateswithdanie).

3. Warm bed - during the winter, another way of relaxing is to lie down on a warm bed and wrapping yourself in a warm duvet.

4. TV series - I unwind by catching up on my series too. I'm currently following two TV series - The Vampire Diaries and Being Maryjane.

5. YouTube videos - I am addicted to YouTube Videos. I can never get tired of them and I also use them to relax. My favorite YouTubers at the moment are Patricia BrightShirley B. Eniang and others I wrote about here.

6. A glass of wine - relax and unwind with a glass of wine. I especially love red wine mixed with berry juice.

7. Conversation - sometimes engaging in conversation with someone even on whats app can just be very relaxing.

8. A cup of hot tea/coffee - In the winter as well, this is my go to. Once I step in, I heat up water for tea.
 
9. A bath - a cold bath in summer and a warm bath in winter. When I am extremely exhausted, it's almost as if the water is washing away my exhaustion.

10. Wash your face - if I don't shower, I just wash my face and dry it up with a towel and feel better.
Movies - Just like I mentioned TV series, I'm not a movie freak but if you are, a good movie is a good way to just chill out.

11. Comfortable clothing - this is key. Who wants to relax in tight or uncomfortable clothes. Loose tees and pajama trousers for the win.
